Inspiration

Seed House

Preserving the local flora along the Regent’s Canal so future generation will the same opportunity to enjoy the beauty of a diverse and healthy ecosystem. This goes hand in hand with the notion of the musuem and preserving with what has been their for centuries. Educating the locals of Islington about their local ecosystems so as a community we can help protect, conserver and take steps to prevent futher loss of biodiversity. Within the different spaces visitors will be able to read and actually see how the preserving done.

They will see it through the exhibition, the seed bank, science laboratories and on the canal in the floating garden beds. Local florist help contribute to the economic community of Islington by providing jobs for the locals of Islington. The garden beds on the canal help with the local ecosystem in many way including pollution. They will help tackle pollution in the water by converting toxic ammonia into nitratem, which is less harmful.
